Industry Still Expanding
On the monthly level, a 0.6% increase was recorded in electricity, gas and steam supply, while the output dropped by 3.5% in mining.
The first five months of the year saw a 5.9% increase in manufacturing year-on-year, while the output dropped in electricity, gas and steam supply (by 3.6%) as well as in mining (by 9.4%)
Sales revenue also rose in May, by 2.1% over the month before, while it soared by almost 8% compared to May 2014.
The value of inventories dropped by 0.9% at the monthly level, although it was up 2.3% compared to the 2010 average.
Compared to the 2010 average, industrial output was up 5.1% in May.
