The festival, which attracts over 30,000 visitors each year, will feature a variety of artists of different styles, including the legendary opera singer Placido Domingo, French pop singer Zaz and British pop artist Tom Jones.

The ensemble's participation in the festival is the opera house's most important guest performance in the recent years, the SNG Ljubljana said in a press release as it announced the closing act of the SNG's touring season.

The SNG Ljubljana's "La Boheme", directed by Vinko Möderndorfer, was first staged in the 2005/06 season and is one regularly performed productions of the Ljubljana opera. The director especially focused on stressing the cruelty and poverty of an artist's profession.
