The year-on-year rise was fuelled above all by a 2.7-point improvement in the services sector and a 0.6% improvement in consumer confidence, shows data released by the office on Monday.

The construction sector stands out among the negative influences, as a 0.5-point year-on-year drop was recorded for this indicator.

Meanwhile, a key reason for the monthly drop was a 1.5-point slump of the consumer confidence indicator.
