The production subsidiary Henkel Maribor saw its net profit rise by almost half to EUR 38.6m on the back of revenue that rose to EUR 187.9m from EUR 134m in the year before.

Henkel Maribor expects revenue to remain level this year as it plans to continue investing in production and energy efficiency.

Henkel Slovenija, a trading subsidiary active in Southeast Europe, posted a net profit of EUR 7m on revenue of EUR 71.1m.

The annual report says the figures are not comparable to last year's, as a portion of the business has been shifted onto Henkel Maribor.
