Visitors, who can choose between one- two- or three-day smart cards, can use the Tourist Card to go to the ZOO, mount the castle by the funicular, access the city Wi-Fi, take a boat ride on the Ljubljanica river or borrow bikes at the Ljubljana Tourism Board.

In addition, the smart card enables visitors take unlimited bus rides, see over 15 museums and galleries and access the city Wi-Fi 24/7.

A total of 651 Tourist Cards were sold in June and July alone, the board said pointing to the increasing popularity of the card, which allows visitors to save up to EUR 80 on entrance fees and public transportation in Ljubljana.

The cards are available at EUR 20.7, EUR 27 and EUR 31.5, depending on the period of their validity. Cards for children are available at reduced prices, the board also said.
