Spar is partnering with telco Telekom Slovenije to provide a service as a virtual mobile operator that it says targets pensioners, the young as well as foreigners.

The users of Spar Mobil will be able to buy and top up their cards at the cash registers of any Spar or Interspar store.

The chain, which is already providing the service under a different name in Austria, stressed the different packages available come without contracts or starting charges.
