Businesses from 38 Countries Showcased at Celje Fair

Hosting a record number of national presentations, the 48th International Trade and Business Fair (MOS) will be declared open by Prime Minister Miro Cerar.

Apart from China, joint showcases of their economies have also been organised by Croatia, which is featured for the 20th consecutive time in this way, and Serbia for the 10th time.

Brazil, India, Italy, Hungary, Taiwan and Turkey as well as trade chambers and business associations from Canada, the UK and US will also be presenting opportunities for commercial cooperation.

Running until 13 September on 65,000 square metres at the Celje fairgrounds, the fair will also host the first ever comprehensive presentation of e-mobility in the country.

The biggest single exhibitioner, the Chamber of Trade Crafts and Small Business (OZS) will host an international meeting of SMEs from the EU and Southeastern Europe.

Economic ministry officials, including Minister Zdravko Počivalšek will discuss ways to get into the markets of the US and Canada.

Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec will meanwhile be on hand for Day of Slovenian Economic Diplomacy, which will focus on energy topics this year.
