The meeting will feature organisations that signed the 2015-2016 Social Agreement, an umbrella labour relations deal, including the Employers' Association and the Chamber of Trade Crafts and Small Business (OZS).

They claim the unions' motion, which if enacted would exclude all bonuses from the minimum wage and in effect significantly increase the minimum wage, runs contrary to the Social Agreement.

"The minimum wage is a key category in labour legislation. The Social Agreement stipulates that we will address the issue in social dialogue and in consensus with the social partners," said Jože Smole, the head of the Employers' Association.
