The CSC jury members are Prof. Danny Szpiro, Melanie Seier Larsen, Principal of the Boston Consulting Group and the President of the IEDC Alumni Club Slovenia, and Slavko Žibret, Assistant General Manager of Fenolit, IEDC Executive MBA Alumnus.

More than 74.000 participants from 80 countries have attended IEDC-Bled School of Management programs, seminars and conference, among those - remarkable leaders and brilliant managers. Currently, IEDC has already 15 Alumni clubs, that help promote the school and its executive education throughout different activities and actions. One of them being IEDC Case Study Competitions held yearly in a number of countries, with each year seeing the geography of these events expand.

Inspired by the success of the Croatian editon of IEDC Case Study Competition (CSC), launched in 2008 in order to demonstrate teaching methodology and benefits in developing young managers, the CSC became a traditional yearly event. The Case Study Competition is highly interactive 2-day contest. In a limited time, cross- functional teams from different companies show their best talent, creativity, teamwork and endurance while analyzing and solving a real business case. The Global Case Study Competition is the final event that gathers the winners from the national levels.

On Tuesday, 22nd of September, the Global CSC competition is going to be held in Bled. The case study topic has been selected by internationally renowned Prof. Danny Szpiro, an award-winning teacher and expert on financial management, including the areas of management accounting, capital budgeting, post-investment review, and the Balanced Scorecard. He has published on the topic of integrating capital budgeting and corporate strategy, and he has published teaching material on the use of the case method that has been adopted by universities around the world. He has also held academic appointments and senior administrative roles in leading business schools in North America and Europe. The winning team is going to be selected on Wednesday and will be awarded with a 2-day customized seminar for their company designed and implemented by IEDC. Moreover, all participants of the Global Case Study Competition will participate in the 'MBA elective course' on September 24-26.
