Energy taxes accounted for the largest share (77%) of green taxes. Traffic taxes made up 12% of the total, pollution taxes 9%, and natural resources consumption tax 2%.

The year-on-year comparison showed that energy taxes increased by 2%, traffic taxes by 4%, and the last two by 2% and 1%, respectively.

Last year, green taxes constituted 3.83% of gross domestic product, 0.04 percentage points more than in 2013.
