The new analyser offers several communicational possibilities and enables in-depth monitoring of surges in the electric current, which occur due to poor electrical energy quality. It also measures the usage of other energy products, as well as temperature and pressure, Iskra said in a press release on Tuesday.

Tim Kodek, Iskra's product manager, explained that the product was an important breakthrough for the company, since there had been no other such analyser in the top price range. This ranks Iskra among the largest competitors in this field. The product was already bought by several power distribution companies and factories.

Iskra is one of the leading Central-European companies in the field of energy, electrotechnical components, efficient installations, traffic, telecommunications, and facility management.

Last year, Iskra's net sales amounted to more than EUR 100m with net profit topping EUR 3m. The company has its headquarters in Ljubljana and sells its products to more than 80 countries worldwide.
