Almost 90 innovations were submitted, most of them from the field of IT, followed by products and services from the field of electrical engineering and telecommunications. Many of them also stem from the field of engineering, architecture and construction, sports, and ecology.

A total of 45 innovations, 33 goods and 12 services, were selected to be presented at the forum by a jury of 36 Slovenian experts from various fields, which assessed the technical, innovative, and business aspects of the innovation.

For the first time ever, an award for best innovation with social impact will also be given out.

The forum will also include lectures, round-table discussions and numerous networking opportunities.

Several events will also be hosted as part of the Coinvest Venture Days international conference. Gorazd Mihelič, acting director of the SPIRIT agency for promotion of investment and entrepreneurship, said this would be a highlight to mark the 10th forum.

The Slovenian Innovation Forum is attended every year by around 2,000 entrepreneurs, developers, researchers, journalists, and others.
