The Association for Territorial Cooperation (Teris) brings together representatives of local administration, businesses and NGOs from both countries.

The attendance at Teris' first official meeting provides "a good basis to upgrade cooperation begun with the EU operative programme 2007-2013", Počivalšek commented for the STA.

The Teris platform offers information on calls for applications for funds and on options for cooperation on local and international projects in Slovenia, Croatia and the EU.

Also presented are opportunities for legal entities and individuals to link up in a bid to improve their competitiveness and sustainable growth. The platform's website also offers training.

Teris president Martin Bratanič told the STA the association brought together people with experience in cross-border projects.

They plan to involve as many players as possible in the implementation of operative programmes for which EU funds can be drawn from European Territorial Cooperation programmes in 2014-2020.

Apart from information, those interested can also find project partners and financial funds through Teris, or get an idea how they could vie for project funding.
