According to the agency, Metra inženiring has distinguished itself with innovativeness, flexibility, constant development of market-adjusted services and strong focus on exports.

The Trzin-based company develops intelligent electronic solutions and produces electronic locking and access control products.

With its solutions, Metra inženiring has equipped a number of health care, sports, entertainment, educational and commercial facilities all around the world, including in the US and Dubai.

The share of products it exports constantly grows and currently exceeds 80%, and the company is present on more than 40 foreign markets.

SPIRIT also handed out at today's ceremony diplomas to this year's generation of ITM trainees as the International Trade Management (ITM) training concluded.

The ITM programme combines academic and practical training, the main benefit being that the companies involved are made to reflect on and thoroughly plan their export activities and in this way save them unnecessary costs or errors.

SPIRIT points to data which it says shows that too many Slovenian companies are still venturing to foreign markets by chance, without planning and underlining export strategies.

The ITM programme is designed for junior staff in export departments of small and medium-sized businesses and is organised in cooperation with the ITM Worldwide Foundation and the agency Business Sweden.
