This is the first time Slovenian companies made it onto the list, Deloitte Slovenija said on Tuesday.

Plastika Skaza, which specialises in plastics, was among the top five in the Great Five category which consists of companies that are too big to make it on the list solely on the basis of revenue growth.

Meanwhile Brihteja, a company designing complex IT solutions, made it among the best twelve in Rising Stars category. The list of rising stars is meant for new promising companies that have not been on the market long enough to make it on the central list.

The central list, the Fastest 50 was topped by Czech company Simplity with a 1971-percent growth in the last four years. In general, the average four-year growth slid from 698 percent last year to 560 percent this year, Deloitte moreover noted.

Almost 40 companies were newcomers to the list, including Simplity. The list was otherwise dominated by companies in software development and in media.
