Radenska has been PepsiCo's franchise partner for Slovenia since 1990 and will now take over the Croatia franchise from Croatian company Badel.

"We are very happy with this opportunity to expand the existing cooperation with PepsiCo," Radenska director Mirian Šefčovič was quoted as saying in the company's press release.

Radenska was acquired in late 2014 by Czech drinks group Kofola.

It posted net sales of EUR 28.3m for 2014, down almost 6% over the year before, but it went to a net profit of EUR 2.4m compared to a EUR 3.7m loss in 2013.
