Guardians of the Rivers, a photo exhibition at Ljubljana Castle promotes the protection of natural and human environments, especially inland waters, as well as sustainable development and a healthy lifestyle in coexistence with nature.

The exhibition brings together Slovenian photographers, such as Arne Hodalič and Meta Krese, environmental and nature conservation experts, activists, artists, art and nature lovers, and journalists.

It serves as a platform to link various environmental protection initiatives, the profession and the public in joint efforts for a better future.
