Slovenian Book Fair

The 39th Slovenian Book Fair, held at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre, will see Serbia as the country in focus.
The event will feature almost 100 publishers from five countries and more than 260 events, including book presentations, literary readings, discussions and exhibitions.
The fair will also pay tribute to resistance fighter and poet Karel Destovnik - Kajuh (1922-1944) and his birth town Šoštanj.
A comic book corner will be on show, along with a select display of works from the 14th Slovenian Biennial of Illustration, and an exhibition dedicated to Slovenian translations of Serbian books and vice versa.
The fair will end with a concert honouring the 70th birthday of author Boris A. Novak.
Admission to the fair is free.
