Slovenia's national men's football team will host Portugal for a friendly fixture at Stožice Stadium on 26 March in the run-up to the UEFA Euro 2024 tournament in Germany in June. Tickets will go on sale in the first half of February.

This will be the first time ever for the two sides to meet for a match. Slovenia was scheduled to host Portugal in 2020 but the game was postponed indefinitely due to the Covid pandemic.

Currently number 7 in FIFA ranking, Portugal features some of the world's biggest football starts, including captain Cristiano Ronaldo, Bernardo Silva, Ruben Dias and Bruno Fernandes.
