The 27th Storytelling Festival will put women at the forefront featuring several Slovenian storytellers and British Drut'syla storyteller Shonaleigh Cumbers.

The festival will open at Cankarjev Dom on 15 March with a concert of original arrangements of North American indigenous songs.

Cumbers, a leading European storyteller ordained in the Jewish storytelling tradition of drut'syla, will perform on 21 March. She will also attend a round table discussion on women storytellers the next day.

While the storytelling festival is mostly aimed at adults, children will be able to enjoy the storytelling-musical show Bunny's House by Anja Štefan.
