The 12th annual Japan Day festival will celebrate various aspects of Japanese culture with workshops, presentations, lectures, performances and food stalls.

The festival will showcase Japanese dance, music and literature, the art of calligraphy, ikebana and origami, tea ritual, martial arts, and more, offering visitors the opportunity to experience Japanese culture and try themselves at various arts.

Admission-free, the events will be held between 11am and 5pm in Republic Square, at the plaza between the NLB and TR3 office towers and the Cankarjev Dom arts centre, and on the ground floor of the TR3 office tower.
