Folk music and dance fest

Slovenia's oldest and probably best known folk dance and music festival, the Jurjevanje is a celebration not just of the traditions of the southern region of Bela Krajina but of folk traditions worldwide.
The five-day festival takes place in the natural amphitheater Jurjevanska Draga and several other venues in and around Črnomelj.
Folk dance groups from Asia, Central America, and Europe, as dancers from Greece, Panama, Croatia, South Korea, and Italy will take the stage this year.
