 Snežnik Castle

The popular site-specific festival Floating Castle will be back at Snežnik Castle in the south of the country, but in a smaller format, featuring some 35 groups mostly in acoustic versions.

Even before Snežnik, the festival will visit the picturesque Istrian village of Truške on 13 July, and the festival's Etno Histeria World Orchestra, featuring 60 musicians from 17 countries, will tour the country with a detour to Italy between 14 and 18 July, visiting Koper, Trieste, Tolmin, Borovnica and Celje.

The festival will see a versatile programme of folk, rock, jazz and electronic music concerts, puppet shows, workshops, performances and site-specific installations.

The line-up of musical acts includes Chilean electro-folk music duo Madela, the Berlin jazz band Embryo, Indian singer Mahesh Vinayakram, the French trio Rozett, the Italian duo Bailenga and the Czech band die Blaue Trottelparade.
