Shepherds' Ball
Aug 11 Jezersko
Held for the 64th time, the Shepherds' Ball in Jezersko celebrates the end of the mountain pasture season when shepherds drive their sheep back into the valley.
Old local traditions will be showcased such as the drive of the sheep into the valley and the work involved in the processing of sheep's wool, from hand shearing to spinning, knitting and sock-making.
The visitors will be able to indulge their taste buds with home-cooked meals prepared in the traditional way, on an open hearth.
There will be good local live polka music enticing the visitors to take a spin on the dance floor.
