Four film classics will be screened admission-free in Ljubljana's Congress Square daily at 9pm. The opening night will see a 1953 French comedy directed by Jacques Tati, Monsieur Hulot's Holiday.

Alfred Hitchcock's Birds and a digital version of Charlie Chaplin's A Woman of Paris will be screened on the following nights. The series will conclude with Nagisa Oshima's anti-war drama Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence, starring David Bowie.

The films will be screened in their original language with Slovenian subtitles. The two films that are not in English will also have English subtitles.
