Tartini Festival

The annual international chamber music festival honouring the Piran-born composer Giuseppe Tartini (1692-1770) will feature four classical music concerts at the Minorite Monastery of St Francis and Tartini's House in Piran plus two admission-free Tartini junior concerts at the atrium of the Praetorian Palace in Koper.
The opening concert will see I Solisti Veneti, the popular Italian Chamber Orchestra, perform pieces by Tartini, Philipp Telemann, Gioachino Rossini, Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini.
The festival will also feature the Tartini Festival's ensemble Il Terzo Suono, the New Chamber Orchestra Ferruccio Busoni from Italy, the French pianist Pierre-Laurent Boucharlat and the Constanze Quartet from Salzburg.
