The Cobblers' Sunday celebrates the tradition of various trades in the northern town of Tržič, in particular the shoemakers' trade. The tradition of such fairs dates back to the Middle Ages.

The event is held every year for several days, culminating on the first Sunday in September when the town at the foot of the Karawanks comes alive with stalls offering anything from handmade shoes to local edible delights.

The fair will be accompanied by a diverse programme featuring brass band, pop and folk pop concerts, folklore and dance performances, sporting events, and workshops and entertainment programme for children.
