The Embassy of India is organising a festival of Indian films at the Mini Teater venue in Križevniška Street 1 in Ljubljana.

Three films will be screened on three afternoons during the festival, Dance of the Wind, Mimi and Sania.

Entrance is free but the number of seats is limited. Tickets can be collected from the venue.

Dance of The Wind is a 1997 film set in contemporary New Delhi. It captures the 5000-year-old tradition of passing on the legacy of Hindustani music. The film traces how a young singer's successful professional life comes to a sudden halt, her downfall and recovery through the help of her mother's guru, and a mysterious young girl, Tara.

The 2021 film Mimi is about a stage dancer, hoping to make it big as an actress in Bollywood. She agrees to be a surrogate mother for an American couple but then she faces tough choices.

Sania is a 2021 biographical sports film based on the life of badminton player Saina Nehwal.
