The timeless story of the Christmas miracle will be brought to life in the stunning setting of the Postojna Cave in a live nativity show.

More than 100 actors will act out 18 biblical scenes, which will be accompanied by what the cave operator describes as angelic singing.

Outstanding musicians and vocalists from Slovenia, Italy and Japan as well as young talents will perform timeless Christmas favourites.

The show also includes instrumental performances and various dance acts, while the cave's natural features will be illuminated to bring out their beauty.
