The Ljubljana City Museum will mark the centenary of the birth of Miki Muster (1925-2018), the legendary Slovenian comics artist and cartoonist, with an exhibition showcasing his work and the work of his contemporaries and those he inspired.

The author of countless cartoons, animated films, comic books and commercials, Muster is best known for his collection of comic books about Zvitorepec, Trdonja and Lakotnik, action-pact adventures of a fox, a turtle and a simple-minded wolf.

The exhibition will revive a period when Disney, Muster and Murillo began their work. It will deal with the exchange of ideas at the time, the difference between inspiration and copying.

It will provide a historical review of comic art, look at the pioneers of the art in Slovenia and its representatives born until 1945.
