Locals and visitors will gather by the Maribor Old Vine, arguably the world's oldest, for the annual pruning ceremony.

On the occasion, the city donates the grapevine's scions to its partner cities, communities, and countries all over the world.

Held for the 46th year, the grafting ceremony will be accompanied by a cultural programme featuring the Academic Folklore Group Študent and stalls selling local wines and home-made delicacies.
