Pokljuka, a plateau above the lakeside resort of Bled, will host the world's best biathletes for a four-day World Cup meet.

The competitions will get under way on Thursday with an individual races for women and men.

Saturday will see mass start events for women and men and Sunday will feature mixed pairs and mixed relay races.

A diverse accompanying and entertainment programme will take place in Bled on Friday and Saturday.
