Orto Fest, the country's biggest club festival of rock and alternative music, will feature almost 30 musical acts from Slovenia and abroad for its 25th edition.

Taking place at the Orto Bar, the festival offers a selection of the club's concert programme throughout the year. The club typically hosts between 150 and 200 gigs a year.

The opening gigs by Slovenian rock band Big Foot Mama, as well as those by the duo Slon and Sadež and the rock band Alo Stari have already been sold out.

Still, music fans have a lot to look forward, including Pomaranča, the first Slovenian metal band, founded in 1979, Spectral Wound from Canada and Lamp of Murmur from the US.

S.A.R.S., Serbian alternative rock band from Belgrade, will perform at the Orto Bar for the first time.

There will also be the Slovenian indie rock band Koala Voice, Rambo Amadeus from Montenegro and Crvena Jabuka from Croatia.

Some of the big local names on the programme include Šank Rock, Masharik, and Hamo & Tribute to Love.
