 Marezige

Marezige, a village perched above Koper, will host the 52nd Refosco and Slovenian Istria Festival, a celebration of a popular red wine variety native to the North Adriatic region known in Slovenian as refošk.

A blend of wine, Istrian cuisine and local tradition, the festival features guided refosco tastings, musical performances, cycling and walking tours of the surrounding vineyards, and the coronation of the King of Refošk.
