 Nova Gorica

Stage 14 of the Giro d'Italia, one of the most prestigious cycling races in the world, will pass through Slovenia on 24 May.

The caravan will ride through the picturesque winemaking region of Brda before the final kilometres through the streets of Gorizia and neighbouring Nova Gorica, the cities that jointly hold the title of 2025 European Capital of Culture.

With Slovenian star Primož Roglič the favourite to win the race, tens of thousands of spectators are expected to line the streets of both cities.
