Wines and food characteristic of Vipava Valley will take centre stage at the 17th Flavours of Vipava Valley, a culinary festival held in the historic Lanthieri Mansion.

Almost 100 wines will be available for sampling and pairing with selected dishes.

The first day on Sunday is dedicated to the general public, while the second day is more targeted to restaurateurs, wine merchants and sommeliers.

Ice cream will be one of the stars of the event, as the long history of artisanal gelato will be showcased in an effort to preserve local heritage.
