Indigo Festival

Oct 4 2023 - Oct 6 2023
Ljubljana

Providing a platform for contemporary trends in the arts, culture, design and philosophy, the international festival Indigo is being held for the 8th year running at Cukrarna Gallery.

Running under the motto Is it for Real?, the programme features presentations, talks, concerts and DJ sets.

One of the highlights will be a discussion between two prominent philosophers, Peter Sloterdijk from Germany and Slavoj Žižek from Slovenia, on 6 October.

Slovenian philosopher Mladen Dolar will talk with Catherine Malabou, one of the most intriguing personalities of the new French philosophy. Both are interested in integrating philosophy and psychoanalysis with other disciplines.

Designer Rob Giampietro from New York, Zagreb-based designer collective Oaza, and designer studios Soft Baroque and Nemesis will also be featured at the festival.

Among the musicians performing will be the collective Clockwork Voltage, Swedish Maria W Horn and Australian composer Ben Frost.

As a post-festival event, a stage reading of the dramatic text The Conspirators written by Vladimir Arsenijević and Igor Štiks will take place on 7 October.
